Autokrator

Autokratōr (Greek: αὐτοκράτωρ, lit. "self-ruler", "one who rules by himself") is a Greek epithet applied to an individual who exercises absolute power, unrestrained by superiors. In a historical context, it has been applied to military commanders-in-chief, and to Roman and Byzantine emperors as the translation of the Latin title imperator. Its connotations with Byzantines-style absolutism gave rise to the modern terms autocrat and autocracy. In modern Greek, it means "emperor", and the female form of the title is autokrateira (αὐτοκράτειρα, "empress").

Info

Autokrator.org is ongoing exploration of continously changing balance of lust, passion and submission through eyes (and cameras) of others.

The basic assumption of this journey defines that it is possible to find such a great balance, even many times. Hard or nearly impossible is to recognize and/or capture those moments.

Please keep in mind that not all photos are published. Basic question which must be answered is: Does my photo captures at least two of these emotions:
  -   Lust ?
  -   Passion ?
  -   Submission ?

If the answer for above question is correct and you think that your photos are good enough to show on this website you can send them to photos@autokrator.org with information about title and description.
